It is, indeed, a well crafted and skilful piece of creative writing - and that should give you great satisfaction.

It is the content that worries me. Joan Armatrading, Peter Purves and Tony Hart, placed in a graphic, sexual context. This should not exist together in anyone thoughts for more than a fleeting second... and certainly not long enough to commit it to paper.

I would stick to ornithology if I were you.
