Hey,

I know there have been several threads about Anastasia recently and I don't want to turn this into another one, I just didn't want to slink back onto the forum without at least acknowledging what you all have done for us in the past couple weeks.

Especially the piece in the programme about Stasia, Callum was amazed to see his name in there. I know it was someone on this site who approached Nae and got the details for it, I don't know your username but thank you. It meant a lot to us. And of course the reading at half time was so special. I wasn't at the game, but Callum came home and told me people clapped and it meant so much to me and my husband. Just to see his face that people knew about his sister while all this other stuff was going on at home.

We've received so many cards from people on here, everytime one dropped through our door signed with a username from here it made me smile. I'd love to thank you all but I don't know how most of the usernames/real names match up but please know we are grateful for them all. And everyone who read Anastasia story or who sent emails and letters to us. It truly has been a great comfort to us.

I'm not sure how we pick ourselves up after losing her, but we have two fantastic children here that we owe it to to get things back to some semblance of normality and Anastasia hated to see people sad so we'll carry on one way or another :)

I know some of you donated direct to the Neuroblastoma Society and I know those donations will matter a lot to them. There is a horrible lack of under funding accross the board with research into childhood cancers, every penny counts. Those who donated direct to us or the funeral home the money raised is enough to fund a new PCA pump for a child on the oncology unit. Which I think is wonderful.

Well, I see you all took the three points from us. I hear it was a pretty dire game on our part. You lot are fast becoming our bogey team. I've my fingers crossed you stay up though.

Thanks for everything.

Sinead

It's great to see you posting here again Starry.

:)

Btw I was talking to four Leeds fans from Basingstoke on the way home from Sheff Utd last week when we stopped at the services.
I thanked them for beating Wednesday. :D

Welcome back to the dysfunctional family that is NSC - still the same mix of left-wing apologists, right-wing neo-nazis, libdem haters, problem children and occasional wise old sages. Cheers for the 3 points!

I'm behind you!
Hi there Starry. Pleased to see you are back with your friends in football.

Your posts are always so comprehensive. They're similar in content to LI, but you're much humbler than him and not such a windbag. .;)

I too must thank your team for being so generous once again, and letting us have the three points. I'm afraid my celebrations got me in to trouble on here.
