There is a womens version this year for the first time. They may wish they had waited to next year to start! .

This year "The Hell Of The North" may well be the mostly aptly named race ever- torrential rain, mud, cobbles, wind, couple hundred cyclists going all out tightly packed, what could possibly go wrong!!!!

And Degenkolb is still riding it too, after the fall he had at The World's last Sunday

Mind you, he knows exactly what he's doing in this race. Thankfully, G isn't being let loose here

N.B. Geraint Thomas did actually win the junior Paris Roubaix once, so he maybe at least stayed up right that particular day.

Goes off to search for THAT Gent Wevelgem clip.

bbc weather notoriously sh*t at forecasting. Will change 20 times before tomorrow.

All ok except the trains. The trains will 100% be sh*t

If Network Rail do their usual thing and slap a 50mph restriction on everything because it's a bit windy that'll be a right pain, especially when more people will be going by train because of the petrol crisis

50mph? crikey that's a tad rapid for Network Rail isn't it?

Add in the petrol crisis and the game on TV could be a really low attendance.

Aside from that if we weren't at the amex you would have to say there would be a fair chance of the game being postponed. Looks horrendous tomorrow.

Plus we have no striker and will start a long run of heavy defeats, ending in relegation in May. Fact.

Travel to the game is certainly going to be interesting ... and the first half going by this forecast!

I usually travel on Seagull Travel ... I have a season ticket with them. But thinking of getting an early train tomorrow to avoid getting caught in petrol queues on way to the game!

They’ve brought forward most pick up times by 15 mins apparently

I do think the attendance will be way down for this one.

Earlier today I drove past several fuel stations in Brighton, every single one all pumps closed, the roads the empiest I've seen since Lockdown 1.

The game's live on TV too, with rubbish weather.

No Bridge car park …I’m on the train ..think I might be a few mins late to avoid the crush

Judging by wind directions on the weather reports, anyone know which stands will get the rain full on?!
