Hearing dog - update

I know this topic is a bit "last year" compared to Kev's career but I wanted to let everyone know that the hearing dog on the train is BACK - I don't fancy its charge anymore, I have to say, I must have been a bit bleary-eyed before - but the little beast LICKED my and 2-3 other people's hands all the way from Farringdon to London Bridge last night. I actually felt jealous when it found some other bloke's hand TASTIER than mine.

It was a very nice act that got everyone smiling, before we all retreated into a book-reading north European froideur after it had got off.

I can NOT vouch for the fact that it listens to MP3 players then taps out the drum rythyms of the music on its lady friend's own bongos however - I didn't see it do that.

I confused it - firstly, I played it "Eight Miles High" by the Byrds (to which it licked its balls then my hand), then the beautiful slow movement of Beethoven's Ninth - but it f***ed up the adagio completely, the furry little twat.

Never trust a mutt with your adagio. It's safer to keep them on the scherzo.

Might I suggest you purchase a piece of Tesco value braising steak this weekend. Then before you leave for work (presumably on Tuesday morning), you vigarously massage, grip, rub and caress that steak during the course of the morning. This will almost certainly secure exclusive licking rights to your hand, and yours alone, for the duration of the journey.

I bow down at that sort of knowledge but the decision-making powers of any living creature HAPPY to put its tongue between my fingers on a train cannot be compared with that of any NORMAL creature.

Mine isn't, he loves em (and sardines etc), good for his coat as well!!

Useful back-up when we run out of tripe, theres always a can of pilchards/sardines in the cupboard. Then again I guess anythings better than tripe!!
