Headphone repairs in Brighton/Worthing area

Does anyone know a place that might do headphone repairs please? I've got a pair of Sennheiser over-the-ear jobbies and one of the wires must have come loose as I can only get sound out of one headphone. Just need someone to solder something back together or whatever it is that needs doing.

This is the flip side to their competive price for a 'punchy' sound comes in. i chose a cheaper in ear version the second time round and the sound is still very good compared to others. Depending on your music the richness and clarity of treble of some others is not there, but they are excellent for bassy music (ie inc rock rather than r 'n' b genres)

Can't believe the 18 months thing. I've had HD25s for about 10 years and they're basically indestructable.

Same here. And it is daft advise if something just needs soldering. And I seem to recall a tale from @ Man of Harveys about some Sennheiser headphones which he had left somehere for a few years and they were perfect when he dusted them down and put them over his lugs.....am I dreaming this last bit?

Have not tried this with Senheisers but have had replacements for a couple of other branded "decently priced" headphones for exactly the same problem. Just needed proof of purchase (amazon online history etc !)

If these are decent quality headphones worth repairing rather than replacing then I would suggest speaking to Bowers and Wilkins at the Becket as they do other repairs. If not, try Phase 3 on Tarring Road as a hi-fi specialist or Barkers on South Street Tarring who have a repair team.

if they have removable cables into the 'phones like HD25s, id see if you you can try someone elses cable. might just be that and get replacement.

they are bullet proof, hundreds of DJ, engineers and producers use them.

Have to agree with this. I find the lifespan of headphones pretty poor. I just buy cheapos now and bin them when they produce a fault.
