I do like a harvester I must say, guilty pleasure really, the blue cheese salad bar dip makes the trip all the more enjoyable.

It’s a bit like a slightly more expensive Wetherspoons really, not for everyone but serves a purpose.

Shame to see a load of people’s livelihoods and jobs burn down to the ground.

The arse end of Hangleton
Worked for Harvester for a couple of years many moons ago. One of the very few places I will never eat ! And no, it wasn't me.

Oh no! Not another UK mystery fire affecting loss-making licensed premises!
I'm not sure Littlehampton Harvester is a loss making premises.
If anything I'd have thought that branch was one to prop up the business.

On the other hand, and very much at face value, The Crooked Pub does appear to require investigation.

Mitchell and Buttler posted a profit last year (the owners of Toby, Harvester, Miller etc)

I’d imagine if they were going to burn down a couple of harvesters it wouldn’t be the one in littlehampton, it’s always packed in there.

When it was " The Windmill " all those years ago we had some great nights in there !!
Then across the road to The Cheval Club for a late drink .
Happy Days
I don't think I've ever had a great time in there.
Although I did see Bodger & Badger in The Windmill, which more than makes up for it.

.

Harvester is basically similar to a whetherspoons that sells roasts . Same crowd too. I expect they get their frozen meat and pre cooked potatoes from the same supplier.

It targets a specific audience .

Not been to a Harvester since Stoke away as it's right next to the ground.

I remember coming out of the ground and lots of fans acting like complete idiots. Got to the Harvester and everyone grew up and was able to talk civilly to each other.
