Sounds like the dog wears the pants in your house!

If it went down to 10 in my house I think I would have slipped on a pair of hardcore 30 denier tights and a pair of fur-lined wellies.

At 15 1/2 he can go in and out as he pleases :)

I don’t think it got that cold just colder than 17

You've got me worried now, I'm currently up in Scotland (where it is lovely, especially with the Sweaties going out of the Euros as it stands) and I forgot to set my central heating to away from home mode, thinking it couldn't possibly get cold enough to kick in. Now I'm. Going to the grim realisation that I'm paying to heat an empty house.

Leeds - but not the dirty bit
What a bunch of snowflakes. (Am I allowed to say that) ???

You can say whatever you like (within the law), it's up to others to decide if they want to be offended or not....and it's not illegal to offend someone or be offended.

I did wonder if to put the air con on for the first time this Spring on Thursday just gone, but resisted the temptation.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
No, but I discovered why the house was cold this morning when I remembered I had opened most the windows.

Nearly gave it another "test" yesterday and then summer came back today. I'm claiming an assist.

Nice and toasty in doors, here, despite the haar.

Tempted tonight. Opted for a brisk walk to the pub to warm up. Heating there was adequate. Saved a few pence on heating. Spent £25 on a round.

Gave it a quick blast this afternoon to take the edge off (and make sure everything's working)
