Well? Ever, at all. Whether serving in the forces, or hunting, or competition, or other (WTF)? Multiple choice allowed.

All of the above (bar never)

Having grown up on a small holding, I had dispatched a number of rabbits and squirrels before I'd even got to secondary school...

I've also been to a gun range in the US as a guest of a friend who lives there, whose colleague was a member. That place was f***ed up.

Barring legitimate use (e.g. pest control) I am very much anti-gun.

Was part of the rifle team for the ATC

Fired the SA80 regularly as part of the ATC. Range only.

Belonged to a rifle club for a few years in the early 00’s

Fired many weapons during my time as a stunt performer and actor, contemporary and period weapons;

AK47’s
Various pistols
MG 42
GPMG
Bren Gun
Johnson light
M15
M1911
Colts and a few Smith & Wessons
Webleys

To be honest, just about most going.

I’ll be honest, it is great fun. Don’t know why. It just is.

However, I am happy that we have very strict gun control laws.

Used to shoot in competitions in my youth. Mainly air rifles but have occasionally shot hand guns and rifles, was decent at it too, regularly placing top 3 in my age group. My brother did it as well and still has a couple of air rifles left from when he later became an instructor.

Air rifle and air pistol absolutely loads. Every time we go to The Manor in Devon that’s one of our main activities. I’m a useless shot but the wife and daughter win competitions there. Don’t mess with the women in my family.

Also shot a 2:2 rifle when I was briefly in the ATC and a pistol when I first visited the US.

Not a fan of everyone carrying though.

Yes, I was in the CCF at school, we regularly used to go to a range. Good fun with a .303 rifle

Did air rifle comps in my youth and was pretty handy.
Went to a gun range in Vegas on my stag and did .38, .44, Glock 17, Shotgun, Uzi and MP5. Great fun. You could either use the plain black targets or pay a little extra for ones of Saddam and Bin Laden etc.

SLR during basic training when I joined RAF. I was so bad I had to re-shoot the range test and only squeaked through on that 😂

I used a rifle range when I was young, so 22mm rifles there. Several airguns (never owned one myself), and a shotgun when clay pigeon shooting on a stag do.

Are we banning Germans now?

I used an air rifle at Scouts a couple of times.
Used a shotgun twice - once shooting at ducks where I missed every time and once at clay pigeons on a works do when I claimed the trophy for best shot.
No desire to fire one again.

I was on the set of Fury in rural Oxfordshire when it got shut down by the police for staging a full on tank and gun battle… during their village Remembrance Sunday church service.
