Been arrested a few times but only conviction so far is Drunk & Disorderly, I would'nt recommend a night in the cells if you like home comforts & a nice breakfast.

It was disgusting & the coffee was'nt much better, If it was bad enough spending the night in the cells the F**kers would'nt give me a lift home the next day either so it was a 3 mile walk in the rain. I can look back & laugh now but it was'nt funny at the time.

Never, ever drink the coffee. Have the hot chocolate.

And we can't do lifts. We're too busy catching real criminals.

Oh.

Was arrested 3 times in the early 70's for fighting at Albion games.
Third offence resulted in a £100 fine and six month sentence(suspended for 2 years). That taught me a valuable lesson -Don't get caught !

Nearly, about 3-4 years ago in Blackpool over christmas when we were playing them, got a bit drunk, mouthy and confrontational how we did'nt get arrested I will never know but it was the DJ in some clubs thought you should never play Hey Jude as the last track when a load of pissed up footy fans are away for a weekend!

Yes, by both civilian and military, UK and foreign.
