Sorry if this has been covered before but I think special mention should be made of Tim Henman's achievements at Roland Garros. Who would have expected him to get to the semi final of the French Open?

I watched his game yesterday on Eurosport and it was one of the best performances I have ever seen from him

Whatever happens next, Henman has done brilliantly.

The worlds best clay courter and arguably best player in the world on current form stands in his way.

Lets hope his current mentality holds up. If he beats Corria, I think he will win the final whoever it is against.

As a formula 1 fan (2nd fave sport) and tennis fan (3rd fave sport) last Sunday meant I had 2 whole events to watch when I got home. Henman was inspired against Llodra, just amazing. And against Chela he was brutal - it was attack, attack, attack.

However Coria is a different proposition - the bloke's only lost once on clay this year. If Henman wins this... unfappingbelievable!

A Henman v Coria final would have been ideal. I can see it now:

(Sun Headline) GOTCHA! Exocet Henman sinks Argie Coria - What a kick in the Malvinas!...

he's a totally different player this year. Reckon he's probably gone as far as he will at the French but my money is definitely on him to win at Wimbledon!!

Totally agree. Tosser Timeeeee is the embodiment of why we will never consistently turn out quality players.

A man who does well in Grand Slams, behaves himself on and off court and generally presents tennis (and British sport) in a positive light, and he embodies why we don't produce quality players?

I'm sorry, I don't understand this at all. What's he supposed to do? Lose more often, behave like Nastase and McEnroe's love child and cover his body with anti-establishment tattoos? Yeah, that'd show the toffee-nosed bastards. ???

I reckon hes been on the grass . . . or something . . . . if he gets into a comfortable lead he normally goes all nice and feels sorry for the opposition, then throws it away !!!
