On a train...
It seems of late that I can't muster up much enthusiam to support the team I've loved since I was a wee nipper. Am I the only one to feel like this?

I'm not sure if it's the ongoing Falmer situation, or that idiot McGhee's lack of man management and lack of new signings, or is it Knights couldn't give a f*** if we finished mid table attitude.

Well our illustrious chairman is apparently moving to Spain I hear very soon, so why doesn't he hand the good ship Albion over to someone who does give a shit.

KNIGHT and MAGOO OUT!

I often think my interest wanes, but it doesn't. It merely hibernates.

The difference between hibernating and waning is that I always know that I'll wake up out of my Albion-lethargy state at some point.

Yes. For me it's partly the fact that we haven't been competing on a level playing field for a decade, but also me getting older. As a thirty-something I just don't have the passion for the Albion that I did from my early teens to my late twenties, although I'm sure this will return to a large degree if the club gets back on its feet someday in the future.

I think after we have played a few games and hopefully got a few wins under our belts the intrest in the Albion will pick up.

I mean we were promised a household name signing, what a crock of shit that was.

The two players we have got on loan (sorry, I've forgotten their names) have only played about 40 league games between them. Revell has started less than 20 league games. Hardly household names are they?

i had not been looking forward to it at all - but remembering some of the great times i had last season despite our general ineptitude, i am looking slightly forward to it

however, i have no doubts that will be dashed by 5pm tomorrow

Yep just don't seem to be interested in this season. Seems our chairman and McGhee have pretty much given up already so why bother. Not the way it should be, and i really want to get excited about the season and actually winning a few games with some nice football

well worded and i completely and utterly echo that sentiment

of course like the rest of you, last year hit me hard , tested me - all the way to the final whistle of that joke against stoke last day of the season .. but i know deep down i won't really lose interest , you just wait, those going tomorrow that think there hearts gone completely out of it... wait until the first GOSBTS goes up , the team run out and 90 minutes of absolute mayhem follow - it'll be back , as will we

SAY WE ARE GOING UP , SAY WE ARE GOING UP

C'MON!

Yes, not really too bothered about the prospect of this season. Can't see us achieving anything or doing it in style, so less excited about this season than any before.
