Sorry, but I think it has. Connotations of pulling rank and queue jumping. From here on in, STH will be reserved as a term of abuse.

Me too. Although I'm quite happy with the £113 discount on home ticket prices as well.Braders7 said:yeah , i'm an STH and i expect nothing but to get into every home league game - exactly what i paid my money other
ChapmansThe Saviour said:I think the case here is a lot of SHT's piped up about Spurs and not being able to get a ticket even though the vast majority do not travel regularly. Those people in the Argus did not claim to travel but thought they should get tickets to an away game because they watched the club at home a lot. This should not be the case IMHO.
Some kind of benefit for regular away travellers, yes. For regular home attendees? Why?
Biscuit said:I got my ticket for Totenham, but can understand how annoyed STH must be if they didn't get one, and yet people who havn't been to a Brighton game since 83 do.

However, despite all this, the world still appears to be turning on its axis.
Albion Rob said:First and foremost, STHs get ample benefit for their money, they guarentee themselves a ticket for every home league game as well as securing themselves a healthy discount in the process. The second point is that I bet most people who REALLY wanted to go to WHL ended up there. There are always tickets floating around and if you are dilligent enough you will usually pick one up.
Why STHs felt they had more right to a ticket than other people is beyond me. A lot of blokes could never afford to shell out £450 each summer - they have homes and kids and badly paid jobs and other cash consuming concerns. People seem to lose sight of the fact that we ALL love the Albion and no-one has any more right to a ticket than someone else. The system has worked fine for 30 years, it seems symptomatic of the modern generation that to lose out on a ticket signals the start of a six-week bitchfest.
AHA! So it wasn't STHs or AMS members who got priority? It was people who LIED when the tickets went on sale.Easy 10 said:I was in a party of 18, and 3 or 4 of them hadn't been to an Albion match for years...and it was a first EVER match for one fella, who supports neither Spurs or the Albion.
