There would be lots of things society agree on.

Do sharks live in water?

The answer is not an opinion, it's a fact.

I disagree.

This shark certainly doesn’t live in water.

Well you just stated an opinion.

Society does not believe this at all. "Some" people have this opinion, not society as a whole.

So it's not a fact at all.

The law is a woeful thing to use as evidence of a "fact" as the law is based on opinions.
Oh ffs can't you take this argument somewhere else?

And it's a fact that transgender people have legal rights as their new gender. The fact that the law is made by people's opinions is irrelevant, it's still a fact that they have legal rights.

Similar to the Potter at Chelsea situation really - fans were generally quite happy with their manager (emphasis on the words 'generally' and 'quite') and then they were outraged by the replacement not being a 'big enough name' and got tore in from the start. Probaly some of the players too.

He should’ve stayed at Luton. He seemed out of his depth and totally clueless as to how to manage Premier League players and handle basic things such as a press conference and has all but admitted he was out of his depth probably talking himself to a sacking. I’m sure he has been paid very well for his time there with a nice pay off, but time will tell whether it was really worth it career wise jumping ship at Luton. Some managers and players just suit certain clubs and certain levels, he could’ve killed off his chance of managing at the top level again. Southampton look odds on to get relegated now, their recruitment in recent years has been dreadful.

It's hard to argue with what you say. He was royally found out when he left Luton before, and Stoke were just a bigger and higher profile Championship club.

Now he is trying to mix it with the big boys in the Premier League, so maybe it shouldn't be a surprise that this is happening all over again.

Stevie G the early favourite.
why though? If his name wasn’t Gerrard, his managerial record wouldn’t get him anywhere near this job.
