Has McGhee worked it out?

Just been thinking about the balance of the team on Saturday and how well structured we were. I know Notts County aren't a graet side but apart from the shot that hit the bar and the penalty we never looked in danger and everybody seemend comfortable with their positions for the first time since C***ell left.

Has McGhee got them playing how he wants now or was I just watching the game through rose tinted beer goggles?

Oh yeah, how good was it to see the reaction of the players after the game, they seemed soooo happy that they'd got that win. What a spine tingling momnet that was!

I was at county and thought we played the best I have seen this season!

For the first time this season (In the games I have seen) we bossed the midfield - Carpenter was excellent!! You are right the balance did look good and the spirit also seemed to be back!

Thought we were aggressive and at least mostly in control of the match, although that piss-poor ref didn't help (gather we've been fined £2,500 for getting 6 cards, which include Cullip's and Mayo's comedy bookings), and there were a few less impressive moments. But overall, we were a diffferent side, thanks in no little part to the midfield - Carpenter had a good match, and Yeates going forward really changed the team for the better. If they play like that on Saturday, we'll get a good result again - maybe (just maybe) things are turning?

£2,500?? What a pile of crap, there goes another loan player!

Penalty looked a bit soft on TV. Not as good as Di Canio's effort against Leicester, but any sympathy I had for a fuming Micky Adams on that one was somewhat diluted when I saw footage of Paul Dickov hitting the ground like a sack of shit against Man City recently.
