Has anyone stayed in Barcelona?

Need some NSC advice! Need some accommodation for 1 night on fri 26th April for me and a mate. Not too bothered about location, but with us both carrying golf clubs we do need some secure luggage facility whilst we see the city during the day so my friend is reluctant to use a hostel. We are looking to pay £30 each or less if possible but am struggling to find anything suitable. If anyone on here as any advice and can post a link it would be much appreciated!

I stayed at a centrepoint hostel for a stag do - really good location at the placa de catalunya. Pretty sure they have oversized secure storage.

You can also book the travelodge room as insurance and cancel up until midnight on the day if you find something better/cheaper.

Avoid any hotel on Las Ramblas unless you don't planning going to sleep until 4am
