It looks like Bozza has been invited to write a response to the Herald! It seems quite plain.

Why would he want to do that?

NSC has a reach that the Worthing Herald could only dream of.

So has anyone complained DIRECTLY to Harty, this time, or are we all still fully behind the man?

Are we all still waging the war against new Albion, against Paul Barber, and against 21st century corporate football.
The war being fought by Harty from his private box at The American Express Community Stadium.

"it’s still extremely concerning that almost every Albion fan you speak to is not happy, given the stadium and the level of football we play at after years of struggle."

The I was wonderful (actually most right minded fans think I still am), my modern day replacements aren't up to my standard article. Not doing himself any favours, again.

My opinion of Hart is not complimentary so, I'll keep it to myself. But I would be furious if anyone outed my real name on here or anywhere else. The man has been an irrelevance to the Albion for years now with his outdated views and style and should stick to his day job now with customers who won't take any offence!

Blimey there is a lot of bitterness on this thread, I have often disagreed with what Harty had to say over the years but I will always remember and respect what he and a few other key players did for the club. I don't see much in the article that deserves some of the vitriol expressed on this thread. There seems to be a get at Harty band wagon gathering pace here, shame.

Ok the bit about Bozza was unnecessary but there are plenty who agree with his observations apart from that imo.

Hold on. Harty writes a newspaper column. If he didn't stir the pot, he would not be writing it for long. In any case, it occurs to me that there are too many people on here prepared to toe the line simply because PB and TB have spoken or will speak directly to this forum. The apathy is a major cause for concern. Empty concourses are a major cause for concern.. The looming renewals for the 1901 Club are a concern. Poor recruitment is a cause for concern. Those poor players facing a difficult string of matches is a concern (I am not looking forward to reading the league table come Xmas).

The finances are fragile but you do not stop marketing when trouble comes. The most important bit of marketing for a Football team is the team. We have got that wrong and the manager knows not what to do. Are any of these things I mention a thing of fantasy? Can you honestly say that any of them are? If you can, then I accept that Harty is wrong. My guess, is that all these points and more ring true...

Excuse me but er feck you. A) because everyone knows Bozzas real name already b) Harty has done more for your club and in many respects he and a few hundred (note 'few') are why you have a club to support today. Christ, what is it with fans and short memories? If you want to talk about offence, your comments typify those that get right up mine and many likeminded supporters who are eternally grateful to Samrah, Attila, Hart, Carder, Costa etc for putting in a shift when it mattered most. That didn't stop just because we've got a ground now. When was the last time a newspaper came looking for a quote from you? "Irrelevance"? What a:tosser:

BIN THE FIN then all this negatively will be banished
Then we'll find out if a new manager could do better with this inept squad assembled by the hierarchy, my fear is that even Mourinho would struggle with this lot of loans and cheap league 1 cast offs

I don't think Jose would find it easy but he would definitely have us higher up the division. Some people are slagging off teams from the past but this current bunch is barely Championship quality. We have a captain and supposed leader who can't string a decent game together at the moment. A new goalkeeper who has made umpteen mistakes. Full backs who can't defend. Midfielders who are brushed off the ball like thistle-tops in the wind and create nothing for the strikers and small lightweight forwards who make absolutely no impact on any opposition back four. In short, we are lightweight, naive and a bit toothless.
Thus far, at the Amex, we have had three manages and I have not been persuaded that any of them have been good enough to get us promoted. The first one, for all his charisma ( and thats what he lives off ) was far too egocentric. Too much Gus Poyet and not enough BHA. The second was too dour and cautious and the current manager is too inexperienced and naive.
This is the reason for the general malaise. Poor results, poor management, poor players. The fans want better quality management and the pressure is now on TB to deliver.
Mistakes have been made but I have every faith they will be rectified.
The problem with a lot of the fans at BHA is that they are not really steeped in the game. They haven't bothered to study the game, the history, the background of football. How certain clubs have achieved success against the odds. The traits of the truly gifted managers and players. The desire and dedication needed. A lot don't bother to go to away games so they never truly see and understand different player's characters. The ones who tend to ' hide ' away but turn it on in front of home fans. They don't meet and talk to away fans and get a different perspective. Its all too insular and ends up in them booing players after failure to win. They watch the game but they don't love the game. They haven't done the groundwork and matured as fans. The good times have come back and they expect a winning team and PL football. The trouble is, so do many other clubs with a stronger heritage than ours. 31 years since top flight football and that was only 4 seasons. Over 70% of our history spent in the bottom two divisions. No major trophies and very few top players. In short, a pleasant place to reside and play but don't expect too much.
Until we get in another man in the mould of Alan Mullery. A leader, fiercely competitive, driven and demanding, then we will tread water and may even go backwards. The whole playing side needs shaking up and a new approach.
Forget this petty bickering in inconsequential local rags and concentrate on getting this club on the right track.

It is VERY hard to dislike Ian if you know him. He's passionate and knowledgable as well as a club legend for his part in the wilderness years. I count him as a mate and take his comments in good part. I don't happen to agree with him on this occasion and the allegations about Bozza are not necessary but, his opinion is his opinion.

Actually having met him on several occassions Id say it's easy not to like him. He seems to be have an inflated opinion of his importance to the club and has become increasingly bitter since Bloom took over. In fact i'd say he shows definite BG tendencies.

Harty used to be one of the most well known fans. Now he isn't.

This should get him up the rankings a notch or two
