According to Squalksport (BBC transfer Gossip) has issued a "come & get me" plea to English clubs. He is 33 years old & I could imagine him in a similar role to that played by Ian Harte at Reading last season. He might be a good addition with his experience so what say you?

could be good in a player/coach sort of signing, give him experience in coaching and a bit of game time. He'd still do a job in the Championship, no doubt about it.

Just 2 years ago if anyone had linked someone of Kewells calibre to the club, we'd have been amazed. I can't believe the player snobbery on here now!!!!! He has played at the highest level and have medals that most of our players could only dream of. His experience on the training pitch would be worth the wages alone.

33 you sure? Appears to have been around for years. Added to which never liked him so no.

Just e-mailed my nephew who is a Melbourne Victory season ticket holder. Since he also follows the Albion and is an NSCer I should get an honest opinion......and I am pretty sure what it will be.

Was up at Anfield some years ago (stag weekend). To hear the home fans call him a "lazy Aussie c..nt " is quite telling.

I saw him play for Victory last year. He looked unfit and anonymous.
