Two live dates at Theatre Royal Brighton. March 12th and 13th. Tickets on sale tomorrow.

Seen him live before and TV Burp this is not. Very funny and similar to his old channel 4 show.

OOh - I thought he had given up doing live comedy as he is now a TV star, and I see that he is coming to a theatre near me! I know he is like Marmite to many but I consider him a comic genius.

Getting tickets - what are the chances of that happening?

Given the ridiculous and outrageous suggestions for transfer targets, I honestly thought this was going to be another one, and fully expected to see a 'could do a job?' post.

To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly :lolol:

Never much went for Harry Hill's comedy on TV but I saw him live years and years ago and he was absolutely hilarious. Well worth a visit.

Now, that is funny. I presume it's supposed to be some sort of irony about a completely talentless waste of space.
I take it from that you've not seen him live?

Harry is a genuine at one liners with his own take on the delivery.
Very clever and very well crafted.

Well worth a visit Tricky if that's your impression of him.

His TV Burp show was great but I saw him live a few years back and hi whole set was basically:

"Hm? Hm? Eh?" *wink* *squint* *wink* "Eh? Hm? Hm? Hm?" Make bad balloon animal "Hm? Hm? Eh?"

He was utterly awful and it was so disappointing! It was made all the worse because he was headlining with Lee Mack who was bloody gut-wrenchingly hilarious.

Is that opinion based on TV Burp or the 10 years of stand up previous to it?

His stand up is brilliant.

I'm going to wade in and disagree entirely. TV Burp is comedy genius, his stand up is pretty dire from what I've seen. I saw one of his shows come on GOLD a few months ago and wanted to find it hilarious but it wasn't. At all. I was disappointed, until I discovered on GOLD+1 they were showing Only Fools!

His stand up is completely different to his TV Burp. I prefer the former. Bought tickets today for the 12th three rows from the front. The show is subtitled 'Sausage Time' OOOOOOHHHH Errrrrr!
