was speaking to a person who shall remain nameless today who is a relative of a player. he told me some stories that are (allegedly) true....i believe some but take others with a pinch of salt.
1. he told me that fletcher would leave by the weekend. already happened.
2. he said that Bazza got rid of Fletcher & is looking at getting rid of Jabo to get Griff back.
3. Brush doesn't want griff back.
4. the target that barry set at pre-season was 21+ points in 10 games, failure to do this and Brush is out.
5. most players want thorpe to leave because they see him as just picking up a wage
6. several players regualarly barrack brush in training (i do know names but i'm not saying who).
7. miller has fell out with brush and wants to leave because of being told that he won't be first choice centre-back but a midfielder
8. joe kinnear has been spoken to by barry but refused the job due to lack of funds although negotiations are still on-going.
9. Martin ling has been told to look for another job because he'll be paid up within the month.
10. Downer is being touted around 1st division clubs.
11. lockwood wants to leave but can't find a london club who wants him
