Harley..opinions?

Personally i do not see what Gus sees in him, for me he slows us down way too much, we get the ball in an advanced position - and yes we do pass back and thats the way we play - but it seems he wastes opportunites to pass the ball, keeps it too long and then the opportunity is gone..what do you all think of him?

I think he's got great potential, just needs to pick up the pace a bit, get goalside more often when we don't have the ball and tackle more!

I've been slating him quite a lot since that Reading performance, but I'm a tad calmer now so will throw in another 2 cents worth.
Gus needs to tell him to get f***ing stuck in and stop such being a pansy. He plays like a luxury player- one that thinks they can get by making one or two decent passes in a match and not bothering for the rest of it. This should not be the case, and we certainly cannot afford passengers.
He needs bringing down a peg or two, but you can see that there is a decent playmaker hiding in there somewhere. I hope he does prove me wrong, but his attitude doesn't really give me much hope.

Can't stand the player but when we're all at coventry then we'll hear over the tanoy that he's in the starting 11 and he'll have yet another shocking performance.

I think he possibly has the necessary ability to cut it in the Championship (given a bit more time), but I've yet to see the necessary passion and commitment that this needs to be combined with!

I think this has been done to death but I cannot for the life of me see what those who are saying hes got something are seeing. Completely out of his depth at this level and like playing with 10 men when he's in the side.

Sitting in the north stand I see very little of any of our midfielders (Bridcutt and Noone apart) so my answer is he's shit

......I think i could very well explode !!!!!! Please please give the guy a chance !!!! Let him be moulded to Gus s way. If after at least a season and he complains to the media that he is not playing then look and decide.But not now , it makes no sense to ruin the the guys confidence,when we need him !!!!!!! NOW.

I won't ask on what basis ... we're starved of any creativity/energy in CMF and I fear for us if we don't get it sorted. I reckon Harley will be gone at end of season .. if not I really do hope you're right

This guy arrived post pre-season and there is no way anyone has a right to rate him till 12 months from now in my view.
