I think it's all a bit screwed. Leeds will have had the player for a month. We've been waiting on the money for a month.

Don't think it's fair really.

I agree, 'taint right. :nono:

I guess we're lucky we're getting the Virgo money so we can actually go out and get some players now.

Which leaves us a week before the new season.

But even if the tribunal sat when he joined them on 1 July the magic beans wouldn't have even started sprouting before the start of the season. and with the drought order they are even less likely to thrive. I say "they" as i hope that DK can put the case for two or maybe 3 beans for the England U21 star.???

That's a bit rude about Dick as I'm sure he'll give McGhee some money aventually.

Feet-dragging means the panel sits again to dole out penalties - fines, points deductions, no transfer activity until full payment received etc etc.

And the transfer window only applies to the Premiership - not to us mere mortals.

Doesn't matter much now though really - cash flow to the 28th isn't exactly going to be a problem if the medical goes OK today.

About 3 years ago, but the Football League managed to argue for dispensation but it kicks in this season.

Stupidly you cannot sign players permenantly when the window is shut, but we can bring them in on loan, so it is fairly redundant anyway.

Though you are limited in the number of loan signings you can make in a season, so we need to be carefull not to waste them.
