I thought he had two shockers against Swindon, but had a great game at Cardiff.

It would make no sense to sell Harding for a pittance, but I don't think he is that polished yet and I am surprised that he has attracted interest from anyone else.

I think originally he was a midfielder. however i ve met him a few times out clubbing, and he says that he enjoys playing left-back and wants to remain playing there.
He s a good player, often a little inconsistant but i dont want to see him leave.
I ll be extremly suprised if this 'rumour' becomes a reality.

Can we file this rumour alongside the "Danny Cullip IS going to Leicester" and the "Adam Virgo WILL leave the club" rumours?

How can I put this as politely as possible. Yeah, f*** off Coppell, you ****. That should do.

Knight will not allow this to happen, surely, having said publicly that Coppell agreed not to go after any of our players. Coppell can keep his mits off Harding, Knight, Cullip and Robinson, although he is welcome to David Lee.

"I have looked at Leon many times and thought he would be perfect for me but certainly in the present circumstances I wouldn't do it. It's not just Leon as well, there are other players. I know the make-up and mentality of all of them and I know the ones I would want to work with again."

There speaks a man who knows he made the wrong decision, we tried to tell him, we even choked on Stevie Coppell's blue and white army a few time, sounds to me like he's now regretting it. And that was before we got promoted

Harding looked very much the weakest link last season, still far too YouthTeamy for my liking. And he would have been absolutely CRUCIFIED on here if that woeful back-pass against Swindon at Withdean that led to their goal hadn't been forgotten thanks to Adam Virgo's last-gasp saver. Panicked sheep under pressure. No great loss, we could do an awful lot better.

Harding a young and very promising player with a distinct pace advantage over his main rival for 1st team football (Mayo)... it is vital that we keep players like him...

I would be very pi$$ed off the SC if he came in for him after the comments he made about leaving our players alone... I would also be amazed if MM / DK would agree to let him go... he must have time on his contact with us... why should we let him go?...

This rumour sounds a bit iffy, but stranger things have happened... MA taking Brooker for the Prem (!) for instance... and I must admit I didn't believe that one would happen...

Falmer will be at least 3 to 4 years away. That will not come into his mind. If Cardiff or Reading offer anything over £3000 a week he will be off and who could blame him
why will it take 4 years if we get a yes? still dont think dan will be of

I was extremely impressed by young Dan Harding when he replaced Kerry Mayo last season. He's still a bit rough around the edges but he has skill and determination in abundance and should come on well this year. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that if we sell him for £50K or so to Reading, he will be worth 20 times that, at the very least, within a year or two and will probably end up playing in the Premiership. Pse DK don't be so short-sighted. Our youth players are the future of the club and we should be developing them for the long term benefit of the side not flogging them off on the cheap.

Couldn't agree more. Where would we be now if we'd sold Adam Virgo when he was out of favour with SC last season?
