Happy Sussex Day everyone, what’s your favourite day out in this magnificent county, mine has always been a trip to wonderful Arundel, the Castle, lake and river walks and in the past taking in some cricket

Happy Sussex Day to you as well.

Not a day out as such, but I always used to like wandering down to Maroccos and sitting on the beach with an ice cream and staring out to sea. I did this many lunch times back in the day.

Obviously I’m biased but there’s only one answer for the best day out in Sussex for me

I am celebrating by going to the These Hills festival tonight, organised by Beak Brewery, in Lewes.

Staying at a faded grandeur art deco hotel on Eastbourne seafront.

All after I finish work in Chichester, over in the West.
