I think so. Hughes would be a permanent signing I would have though and it will actually bring in competition. The first choice midfield is likley at the moment to be martot hammond o'callaghan and cox but there is nothing in terms of back-up. Anyway I would like to see O'Callaghan given a chance up front, he scored 24 goals in 23 games for Cork.

we may loan out a couple of attacking players, and lynch's "injury" is still playing up so he may not get a move just yet

Not saying that it should happen, but the last time we shipped Jake out on loan he bagged a few goals in the conference for Aldershot and came back with a lot more confidence ... may do him good . Perhaps the same for Gatting

I shall miss all the transfer deadline excitement later because i'm going to a wedding, Which is somewhat better than the funeral I went to yesterday. All I need now is my stepdaughter to give birth on Saturday and i've got the full set.

I'm going to edge my bets on 2 more players in ( keeper and a defender ) And possibly 2 going out on loan.

Dick's comments in the Argus seem to suggest we are unlikely to get more in... IMHO, this is OK, since we have plugged the most obvious midield gap (finally)... would love us to ship out a couple of strikers, and get a higher quality one in...
