The glutton's favourite local pie-maker celebrates (I assume they're celebrating) its first birthday today.

From zero to something close to a quarter of a million pies in its first year is damned good going, I'd say.

Happy Birthday to them. :clap2:

Yep - a massive success story - great to hear in these difficult times.

And to think, just over a year ago it was all Pie in the Sky!

A special birthday pie for the next game then, mmmm

I wonder what percentage of their turnover the Albion represents as such a lucrative deal can also turn out to be a massive weakness.

I've got to say - I don't know what that means... :dunce:
A very large % of their business is with the Albion. If the Albion choose another supplier, piglet's are stuffed.

ha ha, it comes from being an auditor once upon a time. You would consider any client that represents more than 25% of your turnover a risk because if they go bust or you lose the contract you can be left exposed depending on whether you have had to get funding/borrowings to accommodate the growth in turnover.

Pretty much what happened with Zavvi I believe. The majority of their stock was from Woolworths.
