Good interview Ady. What a fine player he was. People talk about Vicente - who should his class in several games - but Lawro was superb week in, week in over a few seasons. By far the best player I've seen for the Albion.

It was interesting hearing him talk about playing cricket against Robbo. I remember a match when Sussex played the Albion. It was a friendly muckabout game but I remember that Lawro (and Ken Tiler) looked a class above the rest of the footballers and had obviously played some serious club cricket
