Link didn't work. Like most his songs but Burning Love is up near the top for me.

Paul McCartney said "God Only Knows" was the greatest pop song ever written, I would throw this one into the mix, when you consider what had happened in 1968, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, Vietnam, the rioting in Chicago, these lyrics are so powerful.❤️

I opened up with See See Rider because that's what Elvis used to do

My wife is a massive Elvis fan.
On her 50th we went to Memphis and Graceland. Unlike most American places, this was not at all 'fake' and would highly recommend the trip.
We also saw his 'Live' show at the NEC Birmingham when his old original band played on stage with him being shown on the large screens. Very believable that he was there.
I also remember where I was when he died, but that's another story and another lady (before my now wife)

The very first place I ever went to in the US was Memphis and Sun Studios. The next day we went to Graceland. I went more as a fan of music than a fan of Elvis but it was fascinating.

The Memphis Sessions are my favourite Elvis. Not necessarily the songs but the mix, with his voice pushed to the forefront and relaxed banter in-between.

Was lucky enough to get a competition win to Nashville. Magical to sit in Sun studios, where he recorded Are You Lonesome Tonight (allegedly the same piano and mixing desk).

Found the recent film a depressing watch though.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

Nothing to do with his birthday, but Elvis Presley once vomited all over my Aunt. Just thought I'd mention it as this thread is about Elvis.
