Bit surprised the pilot couldn't turn right, back towards the hill, at all.

I watched this earlier......my hands were sweating just watching it, terrified me and I was safely sat at my desk, can’t imagine what those two fellas must have felt like !

Reminds me footage of diy stuntman, Jim Bailey, although that didn't have a happy ending!

**** that!

Forget the hanging on, if that is a proper landing, I'll think I'll pass.

If you catch your bollocks on a rock as you land, it'll be all over!

I was up at Devils Dyke back in the 1980's watching the hang-gliders trying to fly in a brisk-to-lively sou-westerly.
One chap, totally out of control, trying to tack in and out of the head-wind, flew straight into the side of the pub at a fair old rate of knots - wasn't badly hurt but got a real scare.

I've had my adrenaline rush in my younger years - I raced motorbikes for 10 years but I always felt I was [mostly] in control. Things like hang-gliding [at the mercy of a gust of wind] and horse-riding [those animals have a mind of their own] are shirley way too dangerous and unpredictable - its a no from me [for bikes now too].
