Heskey just got BOOKED for scoring a goal with his hand (blatant), why is'nt he sent off?
If you're on the goal line and stop a goal via your hand its an immediate Red (For Cheating), so when you're CHEATING to score a goal for your team its just a Yellow.

Also when a player gets injured by a dirty/dodgy tackle and needs treatment - why does the INJURDED player have to go off but the perputrator gets to stay on, thus penalising the injured players team. Surely both off for the same time?

Just seen it on SSN. Totally agree. Heskey should have been sent off just as a defender would have done if he'd stopped a goal with his hand.

I was just watching that game, and thought about that same issue.

It was cheating - if he had gone to ground under the pressure from the defender, he might then have got a penalty. Would he be worthy of sending off if he dived for a pen as well?

I agree, it's cheating and deserves punishment - but sometimes a diver will not only get a penalty goal, but also get their defender sent off the park into the bargain!

Had that been the rule, Norman Whiteside would have been sent off TWICE in our Cup Final. As it was back then, it wasn't even a booking.
