Why are we getting so many players injured with hamstring problems? As a youngster I was told that the majority of hamstring pulls was down to not warming up or down properly surely that cant be the case with our players.

Because we don't sign that many big, strong wardrobes! We go for small, neat, quick players.

Saying that... Messi is never injured! Fabregas rarely, Iniesta rarely etc etc.

Perhaps too much gym work done in an incorrect manner strengthening certain muscle groups whilst not allowing enough time or compensation to others thus resulting in tears/strains etc?

Buckley had history with hamstring problems going back to his Watford days.

Quick players suffer a lot of hamstring injuries so that's why the likes of Lua Lua and Buckley pick up those kind of strains.

Surely there has always been quick players but not the same number of hamstring injuries. This happens with other teams as well as us so is it a modern day injury that we are more susceptible to..
