He's been poor this season so far though. Beer and Gatting are only a year older, i'd rather have a proper batsmen or bowler playing than an out of form keeper who's not keeping

But then a lot of the batting has been inconsitent this season and if we are playing youngsters they are going to be inconsistent.

I'd say the problem is the rest have been inconistent, he's been consistently poor. Apart from his 61 he's scored 8 runs in 5 innings

They picked him over an in form Hodd at Liverpool so they must like his chances of making it this season.

On the commentary they were loving his shots, probabbly needs to learn more of the saftey, block an end up, less of the bish bosh 20/20 play if he is going to break into the CC squad this season.
