It gets beyond opinions and turns into a general witchunt, and i feel that many have lost touch with the reality of the situation we are in. Expecting us to attract quality players to a club with no resources and some of the most unwelcoming fans that you could ever wish to meet.

Its the damage some of the moronic opinions have though that you seem to be missing. If I was Dean Hammond looking on here then I would think f*ck you all and go to a club where I was appreciated.

All the sh*t posted just adds to the negative atmosphere that seems to find its way into Withdean as well.

I just don't understand it we all know the albion have limited resources and for years we have struggled fighting for a stadium. We now have permission and a young talented squad yet if you log onto here you would think we are a club about to fold.

This is a time to be positive perhaps if more people got behind the team then it may just be enough to tip the balance in some of these games. I know of several people who won't go to Withdean not because of the facilities but because they are sick of listening to the whinging t*ssers who seem to have forgotton that the club is doing its best with the resources we have.

Perhaps a reality check is required for some

Agree 100%. This thread is utter bollocks - Hammond's one of our better players, scores a healthy number from midfield and is a decent penalty taker toboot.

We should just remind players that EVERY club has its' percentage of complete and utter tools, and wherever they go it'll be the same with those morons who deride the team, especially when they're losing.

If he or any of the other players can't take a bit of stick after a poor performance then he should take up an alternative career. He is in a very privileged position that I'm guessing every bloke on here would give their right arm (and yes that is my wanking one) to be in. It's part of the territory of being a professional footballer.

I expect there are people on here that earn as much as Albion players, hell I expect I am one of them. But if you were to ask me if I'd swap my 13 hour days, 5 days a week for a couple of hours a day playing football I'd bite your arm off.....anyone would!

Do you honestly think we are the only club that slags off their players? If so then you are in a dream world. Over the last couple of seasons I've been to Tottenham, Arsenal, Colchester, Charlton, West Ham and probably others that I forget and it goes on at EVERY club. I was at Arsenal Chelsea the other week was giving Adebyour (sp??) grief!! He's leading scorer in the premier league and they are top of it playing some fantastic football!!

Football is all about opinions which is what makes it great. To denounce people for voicing theirs is not on IMO. People moan when people moan at games, they moan when they ring up Ian Hart and moan and now we've got people moaning about people having a moan on here. We're mid table in the third division for christ sake! I'm not happy with that fact and If I want to have a moan about it then I bloody well will!

Have you actually seen him motivating the players during a game? I haven't that's why he's called Captain Anonymous by lots of fans.
