IMO. Hammond isn't captain material, he doesn't seem to get the players lifted, such as Danny Cullip did.

He seemed to be a good enough Captain to get us within sniffing distance of the playoffs, but now he is not good enough?

Need I remind you what happened to our season last year, when he was ruled out with an injury? (W1 D1 L5)

You may think it's rubbish but i'm basing my opinion on seeing him not performing in most games this season.

Hammond looked much better alongside George but now he's gone he's left playing alongside kids again, he's only young himself and it's a hell of alot of pressure on his sholders, thats sure to affect his performance.

I really don't know why Wilkins bothered with the Martot loan. He has looked a particularly poor signing on the occasions I have seen him play (or perhaps I should say run around the park).
