Stuttgart, 16th in Bundasliga 3-0 up from the first leg away at Hamburg who finished 3rd in Bundasliga 2.

Hamburg just scored to make it 1-3 on aggregate. Incredible atmosphere and should be a good watch if anyone is wanting to keep their footy fix alive

Did HSV v Schalke some years ago. A Schalke win would have sent them down. Passionate doesn’t cover it. We bottled it, HSV stayed up, only to get relegated the following year.

I know the fashionable team to follow is St Pauli, but due to having a couple of HSV-supporting friends I've developed a love for Hamburg (likewise their love for the Albion). Been out there a few times and the atmosphere at their ground, like most German games to be honest, is fantastic. The relegation play-off is brutal though and the the Bundesliga 2 team rarely wins, making it basically two up and two down every season. With Hertha and Schalke going down it won't be any easier next year, either.
