Anyone else note the new Baguette and Pasty and Pie stand.

I wasn't brave enough to try a pie, but had a bacon baguette.

Yes a baguette.

Best explained by the reaction of the bloke sitting next to me when I took it back to my seat.

"Is that real bread ?.."

"Yes", I replied, "I think it is."

It was one of those part cooked things, heated up but not bad at all.

The bacon was also devoid of that flabby uncrisped fat that poked out of the last incarnation.

I nearly choked on it is was so edible.

YES - my son had a tasty sausage baguette, and I was tempted by a nice meat pie. Top nosh (for a footie ground!) - well done to all concerned!

How much were these baguettes? And would they stay warm enough for the trip to H Block?

Hold on a min. Krispies is not vegatarian anymore. If I did buy one it would not be in one peice by the time it got to D, let alone H block.:lolol:

£3.50, shocking price really.

I can buy the same thing for breakfast in the centre of London for a couple of quid.

unbelievably, one of the burger vans had run out of CHEESE. i was tempted to offer 20p for a slice from one of the other ones. i mean, what sort of planning is that - running out of cheese. not good enough
