Have you ever bought one?
I always see the sellers with the sports direct bags full of them, but never actually see people wearing them? They look horrendous quality.
Most STs around me, rarely see any tourists so might be different scenes in other parts of the stadium? Just curious.

Loads of them In the West stand upper last night.

Big shout out to the family of tourists who commented LOUDLY AND CLUELESSLY all the way through the game on EVERYTHING, whilst clinging on to theirs.

Last night was waiting for someone coming by train so was watching the crowds walk up from Falmer station. Whoever was selling them outside Brighton station made a killing as saw literally hundreds of people wearing them. They sell for £15 a pop and must cost £1 or £2 at most to make so that's a tidy (and presumably tax free) profit.

Wow. A lot of the time they don't even name the clubs properly or use the badges because they are worried about getting in trouble if they did which makes it even more of a rubbish scarf. If there was an official one I can kind of see the attraction to a neutral as a souvenir of a game, or a special occasion or something, but even that feels like a stretch. (Not my scarf: )

I just cannot fathom why anyone in their right mind would buy / wear one. It's utterly astounding.

Yep they are careful not to get done for copyright. Obviously words like Brighton or Albion aren't copyrighted but BHAFC and the seagulls logo are so they'll not use those.

I have a few official ones from the club shop from the Wembley trips…but they are souvenirs really. It’s different right?

The Avenue then Maloncho
I bought an AEK one from their club shop.
I’ve given up caring about them, the boy has bought an official Ajax one as a souvenir of his travels. Me and the Mrs bought two AEK scarves from outside the Metro station not only as a souvenir but as a gesture of peace as she was in block 8 and we were drinking pre match in home fans bars. The geezer changed us €7 for the pair (I wonder how much he’d charge the locals)

I’m yet to see a Brighton/Palace one but if I did I’d probably buy one (yes I’m aware I’m encouraging the sale) on the basis that it’s probably one of the most ridiculous things on the planet.

My thoughts exactly. Probably the only one I'd ever buy just for the absurdity of it.

I assumed that anyone that bought one was either 1) a tourist or 2) A Man City fan sitting in the home end.

I was also stunned that they were taking "card or cash". Who in their right mind is paying by card to these guys?!

When arriving last night, on Village Way one seller of the half 'n' half scarfs was having a friendly chat with a policeman, and I think it had progressed from move along, to details being taken for trading without a licence.

I would 100% buy one too. My business partner is a Palace fan and I'd put it up in our office.

As with match programmes, I've always wondered what they do with unsold ones?
Unpick them and use the high quality cashmere on a different design?
