Son cost £22m to bring to Spurs.

Another proof that you have to be shrewd rather than rich to build a decent team.

If these two players had been available to pick alongside this Brighton squad how high up could we have finnished in the league? Not knocking any players within our squad,it's really more of a compliment to the quality we now have. Potential top 6?

Kane wouldn't be classed as cheating diving ****** if he were playing for us :lolol:

certainly top half, top 6 seems fair. its not knocking our squad to say two of the best forwards in league would improve it.

If Kane and Son were Brighton players, there would be threads devoted to the idea that we should sell them, the strengthen other parts of the team

That's stating the obvious and what EVERY club tries to do already.

You could pick a certain 3 players in the Spurs squad which cost them £100m in transfer fees alone, and that's before their massive wages.

Spurs have built their decent team through riches, rather than shrewdness...

With the exception on Ndombele

Most players big money was spent on have turned out to be trash.

The team isn’t decent either, so much wasted money - so moving away from the model of looking at shrewd signings/decent values signings was a poor move.

The best Spurs PL I’ve soon was built on relative peanuts.
