The stewards came in my row, and I was the only one next to them as the whole row was full of only me, Statto and porno mag boy - and a few others on the other side of me.
Anyhow, they spoke to a kid no older than 15, and I am sure he had done nothing wrong because he was 2 rows behind me.

I had no idea what had gone on than, as I think we were giving Flinders attention or something.
Anyhow, today was probably the most enjoyable match in H I have ever been to. No steward songs (OK just the one but Yorkie sorted them out!)

Was it your mate having a right go at Ned and Yorkie at the game a few weeks ago then? If so, whilst he may have thought he was making a point about the reactions of certain people to the stewards behaviour, I dont think the foul mouth tirade aimed at them helped his cause.
As for them being "grasses", on what do you base thet then?

If you was using a mobile whilst driving and they reported your number plate, than you would not complain surely?

as I recall Ned was trying to make a point at the time to those people who had been baiting the stewards, that to continue would mean that we would not be able to show any support of the club.
To a certain degree he was right as today, the baiting did not happen at all and the stewards left us alone...even when we were standing for long periods.
On our side the lady steward came in to ask a young lad at the back not to stand on the chair just in case he fell off and hurt himself...that is what stewarding should be about....not having to deal with people mouthing off at them.

The stuards ask for most the trouble.
