I can't believe how many people on NSC are all of a sudden arse-lickin Butters now, just because his pride was hurt because of the "internet sale"
Fact - last season when he played he was crap
Fact - when he played he was overweight (inexcusable for a professional footballer)
Fact - when he gets better (yesterday I thought he played alrite btw) he'll get the fans back on track, but don't everyone start having a guilt complex because of what Oatway said in the papers, he was "put up for sale" because he was a waste of space last season and was mugging us as Albions fans
Who are you to say who is worthy and who is not worthy of a song

Don't you become all high and mighty Bernard Matthews, in my opinion Butters has not reached the standards that anyone hoped he would reach (although monday was a start), and I'm not going to start singing "One Guy Butters, or whatever" just yet
What's eating me BrightonBird is that Guy Butters was a disgrace last season, as most people on NSC agreed, someone then very humourously posts his "sale for a tenner" on a website (who didn't laugh but took it with a piece of salt?), Butters then sulks and feels offended and everyone starts backtracking on what they originally thought about him as a player
Sure, give him another chance, and I applauded his performance on monday BUT he hasn't got my seal of approval just yet and the hypocrisy of many NSC users astounds me.............plus Sussex are gettin tonked in the cricket at the moment which has annoyed me also!!
Have to agree with Ninja. he played well on monday but has to have a few more similar performances to gain my seal of aproval. I wont slate him when he wears the stripes, but am not going to start singing songs and building him up when there are players far more deserved of the praise.
