I really enjoyed tonight and I know that Guy did. Good that so many of us turned out to say thanks to him. Great speech by Hiney, funny and moving, and a big well done TLO for organising it.

Top night out. Guy is indeed a nice guy as Hiney said.

Well done TLO.

Well done all.

Excuse needed for a similar close season night out next year.

Just got back in. Absolutely cream-crackered.

Delighted everyone enjoyed themselves - especially Guy (and his lad Jamie). Race and Mrs Coach spent half the evening doing their 30-something gasbagging thing that 30-something gasbags do.

I bet myself a jam sandwich that Guy would choke up. I lost, but only just. I think Jamie was more interested in Guy's presents (Nintendo Wii and a Carlsberg drinks dispenser). We also got him an inscribed tankard which read 'Guy, Thanks and Best Wishes from all your friends and supporters at Brighton & Hove Albion - 29th June 2008'

And a pair of shorts that are probably best described when Roz puts the pictures up.

Oh, and hugging Race is lovely - she's very, um, comfy.

Twas a great evening indeed and nice to see lots there and I finally got to meet a few faces from here and NSP!

Al, or Terry Nutkins as he was being called last night, did a superb job of organising it all and it was much appreciated and a good laugh.......not sure I like being described as comfy though :p

Hineys speach was excellent, which we were not expecting.

We got home at about 12.30am so he's still in bed cos he's a lightweight, but he will be on here posting something later after he's had chance to rummage through his bargain bucket full of messages....... and after he's done the washing up seeing as I didnt get a dishwasher :glare:

Great night indeed, although I had some strange wig hair in my pizza :glare:

Good speech by Uncle Hiney, and the waiters seemed in good spirits despite the raucous shouting and preference to one table who managed to finish their main course before some people got their starters :)

Good to see all the familiar faces and some new ones too, its always good to put real people to user names and take things OFFline x

Thouroughly enjoyable evening, good food, beer, being force fed cream, Uncle Hineys super speech, watching race trying to walk in those shoes and of course Tank!

Well done to all the organisers.

Any chance of a TRANSCRIPT of Hineys speech for those who were not fortunate enough to be there to WITNESS it ?
