I've only bothered to read the first post...and i'm not sure why that was as its bllx....as if a TOP manager would even have the time to read a chatroom post...what a laugh.

Gus will play it his way ..and yes its take it or leave it....but to suggest the crap in that first post ...yur having a laugh..and he's man enough to accept criticism so lets not go down the route that he's untouchable.

Long live King Gus...more importantly..up the Albion!

I wouldn't be suprised if Gus and/or the management read this site, od that the whoever posts in ask the club is relaying views. So I wouldn't be suprised if posts on here is what Gus is refering to. Stranger things have happened. NSC is only a small part of the fan base, but it is a part - and a very visible one.

All I'd say to these people on here is be careful what you wish for....

Gus is hurting, we all are but its only because we all know how close we are to cracking this division. We have to be patient and stick to our principles. He is a fantastic manager and he wears his heart on his sleeve. I've no doubt he hears criticism from the stands during quieter or more frustrating parts of the game - I've never heard anyone shout "We think your doing a fantastic job Gus and we're with you all the way!!" but you do hear absolute hoofballcrap shouted!! If he does read NSC this is for you Gus: ignore the wankers, in every Amex crowd of 20,000 there's 2,500 away fans, 17,450 Albion fans who are with you 100% and 50 idiots - please don't listen to the idiots, we may not always show it very well but we really appreciate what you're doing here and we're with you and Tano all the way.
well posted agree with this a little worried teams may pressure our back four into mistakes keep the faith

if you do that, you'll be back in league one next season. Poyet HAS to start adapting to the style of play he thinks the opposition will use....not just the usual "gus way"

"Maybe the fans just want us to kick it long win 1-0. I've got no problem, I'll go home."

From today's Argus.

So there you have it.

It appears that Gus is aware of some of the shit that gets posted on here and is heartily sick of it. Look at that last sentence -

"I've got no problem, I'll go home."

This is a clear sign that he is willing to walk if necessary. Gus is an emotional man, and a slightly over-the-top kneejerk reaction is not out of the question. He will have plenty of offers so would have no worries - employment-wise - about leaving.

So.... we are in danger of driving out one of the best managers this club has ever had.

I would suggest that you morons who keep moaning, and those wind-up merchants who do it for kicks (TCB et al) actually THINK before you post some of the drivel you do. Get the f*** over your own ego and think about the damage you could actually be causing to this f***ing club.

Whats the solution? I don't want NSC to become like a fascist state, but the future of this football club is more important than the feeling of a few worthless c*nts on a messageboard.

I am sick of this, and I am putting a request out to the mods to try and do something about it. Quite what, I'll be honest, I don't know.

Well said that man, couldn't agree more. Gus has worked wonders, people need to remember where we were when he took over, staring down the barrel of league 2. To go from that to top of the Championship a few weeks ago is beyond brilliant work by Gus. Lets not forget that hey?

What a load of bollocks.
Anyone who thinks that Gus would fight his way through a load of threads about catering, trains, park and ride, heavy handed stewards, Rachel Rielly, Fantasy Nags, wind up threads from Nigels, and posts about every other kind of shit you can think of, and all this before he reads a positive posting about the team, needs a check up from the neck up.
My view is that he is saying, this is my style of football and we will play this way, rather than the crap that Allerdyce's boys were under instructions to play, and if the supporters dont like my style, then I will go home, meaning if they moan about me enough, and the chairman trusts the fans more than the manager, then he will fire me and i'll be gone.

You just don't get it do you. Keep playing pretty football week in, week out and you'll be f***ed. It's not about being the best team or the worst team, it's about having a team that will adapt and change to suit every game based on what you think the opposition will do....we may have been the worst team you've ever seen but we did a total job on Brighton and got our tactic spot on. The previous week at home to Blackpool, we absolutely destroyed them playing Brighton style football.

From what i've seen, Poyet either doesn't have the players to change things or doesn't have the knowledge or experience to change it....and that includes during a game when things aren't going right as well as before a game.

We got our tactics spot on monday night, we might change them at home to Leicester on saturday

Wrong. It's you that doesn't get it. For the 80th time, we are a team and club in transition. If you think you saw anything resembling the final product on Monday, you're deluded. Don't judge us on that - it has no value.

It's Brighton under Gus Poyet which has the capacity to improve leaps and bounds, way beyond anything Sam Allardyce could ever hope to offer; to play fast, effective, attractive football. Gus is on the right path, and it's quite embarrassing for you that you could never accept it. Everyone is learning - all learning. Sam doesn't have the capacity for that.

Let me guess - you're all for 'pride' and 'passion' too.

I understand your position, but Swansea kept to their footballing principles and it worked out okay for them.

This is certainly a physical, athletic division (which is why Southampton are doing so well as they do have an extremely fit squad), but I would hope there is a way to counter it rather than matching fire with fire.

Naylor reads NSC.

Naylor ask Gus at press conference 'What about some fans that'd rather see a more industrial approach to games?'

Gus gives above quote.

No need to jump to conclusions or think Gus reads NSC.

We also don't have the budget that Big Sam has to play with, money buys flexibility.

There is no way West Ham fans would accept that style of football at home every week, and good on them for sticking to their principles, but scrappy 1-0 away wins are always different, and there it is more about results than style.

I disagree - we need to play our game, not anyone elses.

If GP is serious about a career in football management he'll just have to learn to deal with it. He'll get the same anywhere, anytime there's a dip in results. That's how life is. He won't want to get a reputation as a flouncer.

Does Gus really give a f*** about a few uneducated keyboard warriors ?

Like f*** does he.... I don't care what they think and I care more about the club than Gus does.

Journo: Can you confirm the reason?
GP: Er, eeess complicated
Journo: Did you lose the backing of the chairman?
GP: No, Tony ees friend, eees fantastic for the club, offered me 10 year contract
Journo: Perhaps recent results?
GP: No. I believe we start winning next game
Journo: Perhaps you got a better job offer?
GP: Er no.....
Journo: So what
GP (very quietly): Er was NSC *looks down*
Journo: As in the message board?
GP: Er, si
Journo: As in the message board that's looked at by a fraction of the fans, posted on by less of them and liable to Palace fans, wind up merchants and the genuinely unhinged turning up at any point?
GP: *sobs*
Journo: Was it half term?

Exit Poyet in complete silence a la Simpsons awkward moment.......
