Because his conversion of chances and half chances over the last 16 months has been appalling.

Why waste their money on CMS who is also no spring chicken, when there is the far more effective, talented, and younger Wood, Buckley, Austin, to name just three in the Championship?

Just read that Dobbie wants to go to Palace, probablky to link up with Holloway again. Could Gus be lining up a player swap with cash adjustment Dobbie for Murray.

Adjustment? £3 million say? What has Dobbue done this season?\one simple tapin I think. If you watched Muzza this afternoon he virtually mrashalled the whole front-line once we were down to 19. You don't get commitment like that for paella.

I hope it's for us-he is starting to show why Gus wanted him, just needs a goal or two. His first touch and control are considerably better than CMS's-he doesn't run as fast or as much though.

Don't agree. When he's not sicknoting, he can't hit the biggest barndoor. 0 goals in 18 months

I agree. Hate to say it but Murray looked fookin top class today. Led the line superbly and most importantly was ALWAYS hovering on the edge of the 6 yard box waiting for a decent ball.

Gus was rumoured to be interested in Charlie Austin 2 years ago when the lad was at Swindon and I could see this happening AND Macheda but CMS would probably have to be sold.

Personally I'd like to see Wood and Austin in, CMS out.

As long as he finds a half decent striker then we should be in wit a good shout of the play offs. Losing 20 goal in half a season Murray has cost us.

There are a few we could afford to let go ; one of the bench warming goalkeepers,Sparrow,Harley for three.If the need is for cash in before cash out,then it has to be one or more of our better players,though who we could afford to replace the likes of CMS,Buckley,Bridcutt is beyond me.Bennett returning,perhaps,Emnes from Middlesbrough possibly.Wood? Would it improve us ?
