We've got Premier League class wingers who are more than capable of servicing two decent strikers and chipping in with their own fair share of goals. Time for a proper clear out up front. Statement of intent shirley.

Come on Tom thats cheating, 3 in 3 out rules is rules..............................

Poyet ready to do business From The Argus) (14/12/12)
Poyet told The Argus: “We are trying to look for that player that is perfect for us and even though in January we don’t like it we will do it because it’s a great opportunity. If that opportunity comes we will do business, no doubt.

“The problem is it needs to be the one, not just bringing in a body for the sake of it. If the right player is available and we can afford him we will bring him.

So, we are prepared to do business if the right person comes along.

Poyet: Let's spend big on a goalscorer From The Argus) (17/12/12)
ALBION boss Gus Poyet wants the club to spend big in January on the goalscorer he believes could clinch a place in the top six in the Championship.
...
He told The Argus: “It’s getting closer to where it is going to be a big decision for myself, of course with the backing of the club. I would say I am now closer to bringing someone, or a few.

Not only that we might, but someone is on the horizon!

Albion put contract talks on hold From The Argus) (18/12/12)
Albion have barred new contract talks as they bid for promotion from the Championship.
...
Boss Gus Poyet revealed to The Argus: “There are no contract talks. Everything has got a time and there are moments during the season when, for what ever reason, the clubs needs to move or sometimes the player or the agent tries to move and then we’ll see but right now no, no talks.

Well, we may be flip flopping on buying players, but the players currently under contract are set for the rest of the season.

Poyet ready to fight off interest in his Albion stars From The Argus) (21.12.12)
ALBION boss Gus Poyet has issued a hands-off warning to clubs hoping to lure away some of his key players during the January transfer window.

Poyet insists they are not for sale unless somebody is willing to pay “crazy money”.

Reiterating that our players are going no where.

Poyet prepared for January overhaul From The Argus) (21/12/12)
Gus Poyet will revamp his squad during the January transfer window after admitting Albion have fallen short during the first half of the season.

The manager says performances have not translated into points so far and wants movement in and out in the New Year to change draws into victories.

We're gonna buy, we're gonna sell. Squad overhaul!

Expect an article tomorrow morning ruling out any movement in the january window, then another hinting at done deals on monday, probably another on boxing day to categorically state we have no interest in doing business in the january transfer window, followed by one later that afternoon discussing player who are likely to be sold, and then the nxt day how those players are not for sale but we might buy some one in january, except come friday we'll be told there's no interest in any new signings...

I don't know if the this is the argus making mountains out of molehills or the club sending mixed signals.

It says CMS , Bridcutt Harley Sparrow out Wood Murray & Razak in. Interest in Buckley but no takers as yet so think what you will of it. The funniest bit is Harley to Sunderland. I dont believe any of it but it is certainly amusing reading.

My prediction is that we will get some decent players, play very well for a period of games, then start playing shit again, where Gus will look to the next window and say we need an overhaul, forgetting that the players that are underperforming are the ones who we signed in the last overhaul. And the cycle will go on, and on.
