Just read the interview, He likes living in Brighton, doesnt like the north!

Falmer was the main factor in him signing the new contract and we have the 7th biggest budget in the league with two or three teams paying over double our wage bill.
Not got a scanner so cant post it here but worth the £1 or so the paper costs

Just picked it up. First time I've bought it since it has been bought back, and it's a good read.

In Gus' interview he puts a lot of emphasis on the false assumptions from other teams that we're big spenders in the league, just because we have a wealthy owner. Might be partly down to the fact he probably deserves more credit for turning round our fortunes, as money can never guarantee instant success, as proven by South Coast Club.

I've gotta say I've started to buy the paper every week and really enjoy reading about the teams in our league. Knowing more about the other teams and how they play is making the season more exciting and interesting for me .
And of course being top of the league makes it even more exciting

How does he know we have the 7th biggest transfer budget? Surely he can't quantify exactly what anyone else in the league has got to spend?

I miss the Spargus (Sport Argus) So this could be the next best thing for a Sunday hangover read!

I usually find it in my local Sainsburys & i've got it in tescos before too. Really is a great read.
