West Sussex, la,la,la
Play 2 up front then and forget all this 'being overrun in midfield' bollocks. Other teams manage to play 442 without losing 9-0 every week. Have some faith in the players we have got who are far better than any we have had since the old king died.

The issue is poyet will only play 1 up front so no room for him at the moment

Which begs the question why did we sign him? I thought he was (and still is) a great player when he signed, bags of potential for us, but sadly I see him leaving on loan to another Championship side next season if we can't find a place for him, he won't sit on the bench for another season.

The problem is he hasnt taken his chances when they have come along. It is still early days and he is clearly not shit as some fans like to say.

Our problem as with all teams, fans want instance success, if we get off their backs and support them they might be more likely to succeed.

He hasn't taken chances, but in fairness he hasn't been given a decent run in the team either. He's desperate to show his worth but ten minute cameos at the end of games (when opposition are getting ten men behind the ball) isn't the easiest way to go about it. When he's started he has also looked poor, but once again it could be argued he's being playing on the left-wing. Asked to do the Barnes role which he's never played in his life.

I'd like to see; 5 games, playing CAM, not being substituted. Only then can we really start to judge him.

Problem is Poyet will not drop cms when he is our top goal scorer and rightly so imo, only when Hoskins or dobbie take their chances all-be-it 15 mins at the end of the games will they be considered more, I think that showed in Hoskins face when he missed at the end of the ipswich game.... Competition for places is a good thing and it can all change in one game with injuries, suspensions or taking those chances.

Would like to see him nurtured into the Barnes role.

In my opinion the main reason why Barnes gets the left sided birth is because he is a natural finisher and has a reasonable goal record. Dobbie has these and more quality however it looks like Gus isn't convinced enough on his defensive work to grant him a regular start

Well I trust the swansea fans that I know a hell of a lot more than the goons on here who slag him off and they think he's great.

Blackpool supporting mate of mine was in tears when we got him - how can the Swansea and Blackpool followers all have it so wrong? Or is it possible we've not seen the best of him yet?

Fitness? Position? Needs a run? Who knows - but I suspect he's got a lot more to give. Makes starting this thread a bit of a joke but typical of NSC at the moment.
