Gus: Fans will love Dobbie From The Argus)

This article is starting to look a little bit dated now, even the comments are comedy gold, "Does it get any better than this" and "Outstanding signing". What a waste of a good player and money, sitting on our bench.

Still might work out for him I reckon. Could go one of two ways.

Scenario 1: Gus signs the fabled target man (Ulloa or someone else), plays Dobbie off him, the pair hit it off immediately and go on to score boatloads of goals a la Small and Byrne.

Scenario 2: There's only two Ryan Harleys.

Well I trust the swansea fans that I know a hell of a lot more than the goons on here who slag him off and they think he's great.

I don't think anyone's slagging him off but clearly it's a baffling signing considering he's not played. I was bloody excited when we signed him.

I hink he has shown some great moves and skills, just hasn't quite managed to yet put hem together consistently. He needs a run in the team, and if he gets that he will come good.

Just watch him score a hat-trick to win the play off final against Palace...you heard it here first!

I hope he gets a run out tomorrow in the right position, then we might see the quality that he definitely has.

Has been dreadful so far, though like others I was pleased when we signed him.

I think if his work-rate was better people would have more time for him.

Not a chance he's a Harley. Dobbie has proven himself totally at this level whereas Harley only really proved himself in the Conference.

He needs a decent run, played in the right position and behind the right man

You can see he is quality but unfortunately he only ever seems to have one thing on his mind, which is scoring. Understandable as he wants to silence critics and make an impact here, but there are times when he picks up the ball and you know he is going to try a shot from distance, or beat men himself, when there are way better options. This is exacerbated by the fact that we are normally desperate for a goal at these times when he has come on.

Hopefully he will get a chance and do well starting a game.

True. Harley comparison was more based on how some folk are talking about him as if he's already a confirmed failure. I'm pretty sure he'll come good, would be keen to see him get a good bit of time on the pitch tomorrow too.

It's just a matter of finding form imo. I would say he's been there, done it and got the t-shirt at this level already.

I don't know any Swansea fans but i do see a player with an excellent touch and expect him to come good with regular performances.
