Gus has never managed at the top level and has won nothing of note as a manager. No way will chelsea want him until he has, they're not gonna take a chance on an unproven manager when they are so desperate to ensure Champs league football next year.

Surely Gus can sign for Chelsea in the Summer.

He'll still be our manager by the time the season starts.

Bet Gus has got so excited on watching his name being touted that Barnes is on his way round to relief him and garrenteed Barnes that he'll be in his starting 11.

I wonder if Gus did get appointed Chelsea manager if he would start Barnes in that team???

People saying it is too soon for Gus, yes it is at the moment, but as most people are expecting promotion this season that would paint a different picture on it in the summer if Rafa fails

The only two people linking Gus to the Chelsea job are him and Ray Wilkins! He's a good manager but he's hardly worked miracles given that we do have a decent budget. I would say Kenny Jackett and Keith Hill are both doing a better job than Gus.

If we are promoted no

If not then it would not suprise me at all ,

tbh my aunt madge could manage a club that has a money no object policy , so you do not have to be that good to do a job at chelsea

There is only one person we need to keep at our club, and that's the owner.

The rest can always be replaced with equal or better.

Lose Tony Bloom and then we need to start worrying.
