Guitar Hero III

Finally purchased it today (PS3 version), after umm-ing and aah-ing about it for a while, finally deciding it could serve as my Xmas present for myself, and I can't believe I've been missing out.

Admittedly, I'm shite at it thus far (have just managed to scrape through "Slow Ride" by Fog Hat on about my 36 millionth attempt, but it's so fun and addictive already). If you're a fan of big, loud rock music and you have a games system on which this is available, then I would highly recommend purchasing it.

I went straight to 3 nd soon as you get into it 30 minsish you wont put it down. ILOVE this game. really getting me into rock as well! not my thing but its changed me lol a MUST buy. just completed it on easy doin medium now definatly harder lol

I've completed it on Medium, and I'm about halfway through it on Hard now. Its definitely more difficult than GH1 and GH2. Some tremendous tracks to play though. Some of my faves:

Anarchy in the UK - Sex Pistols (just brilliant)
Schools Out - Alice Cooper
The Seeker - The Who
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns n Roses
Paint It Black - Rolling Stones
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Black Magic Woman - Santana

I think I'd still buy it even if those were the only tracks on there. Wondrous stuff.

Tis a great game as usual. I cannot beat that bastad Lou on Hard just yet, if I do that I will have completed my Hard career! The best way to play GH is on Hard/Expert I think. I didn't bother gettin the wireless guitar pack, I just picked up the game as I had the guitar from GH2 already AND I am hangin out for ROCK BAND!!!! Now that will be a sweet game!!!

No you dont, I havent got enough fingers to play guitar, yet i can just about play GH2 on hard level.

i have short stubby fingers and no co-ordination so playing the guitar is an impossibility. i manage fine on guitar hero though.

I can play real guitar, and managed to jump into guitar hero on expert
