Guitar Hero - advice please

Right, after at least a year of hype, from friends, NSC and now family, i'm going to take the plunge!

so,

1) Obviously a i need the game bundled with the guitar......which is better, One or Two? (on the Playstation 2)

2) Where can i get said game cheaply?

3) I have exams at the end of May...is this a good idea?

You could get GHII with the guitar thing for just about £50 (after discount) on the ISO system at work.

Not sure how that compares to other places, mind.

Yeh, i had a look.

It's £45 on amazon and play.com, compared to £50 for the original....is that because the first is better?

Personally, I would say GHII has the better track listing, but I guess that's as much down to your own musical preference as much as anything.

as a school exams officer...I say its a bad idea! Wait til the exams are over and you will have loads of free time, then do it!

Right listen up - I saw GH1 including guitar for the PS2 in the guitar shop on Western road half price to £25.

Then on play.com, GH2 game only is £17.99

So get both for £43 is my recommendation. Or get two of GH1 for £50 for muliplayer?

I'll be walking past there in the morning, I'll see if they still have them in stock in the window.

GH2 is actually a bit easier to learn IMO

yeah get BOTH and a wireless guitair (my next purchase) it's pure white and it looks SEX

i prefer the Guitar Hero 1 tracks myself but it's all down to taste i suppose..

I agreee...generall 1 seems good 2 seems to be based around the fact that everybody in the WORLD has heard Sweet Child O' Mine, with a few in there for the sake of it.

Hmmm, i think i need to go into town at some point this week!

get it! best game ever. especially in 2 player face off. 1st one has more well known songs but 2 is the better all round game.

however, when rock band comes out
