Whilst I appreciated the freebie in 1901.
My W1C ticket in Zone D seat 70 costs me £590 whereas next seat 71 is Zone E where ticket would cost me £965 as E doesn`t get OAP discount.. My seat is better view than Gold 1901 as good as platinum and nearly as good as platinum + which costs four times as much as mine.

Ps as local was lucky to be invited in first tranche to get seats in new stadium.
My ticket is W2D so I’m just above you I think.

To receive a discount for committing to an entire season of games, to then hand out this discounted ticket to your friends and family, isn’t fair on others though. I think the club have got it right when it comes to STs.
If one gives there ST away who are the others it is not fair on ?

My underatanding from your post is that you have, or had, three season tickets in your name and you want to go back to the time when you could distribute these to your friends and family freely and easily. My point is that these STs were sold at a discount to the price of individual tickets. You friends and family will be in reciept of a discounted ticket. If A N Other wants to go to the same game, unless they know you, will only have access to full price tickets. It's unfair on A N Other.

The principle of a ST is that the holder commits to a season of games, it's make a mokery of this if it can be given to others. As it happens the club are flexible and permit a few games per season, and rightly so, but any more and it's unfair on others.

You grabbed the free ticket for Wolves even though you've got a season ticket...Wow

Fulham have introduced digital STs this season. We can add Friends and Family to our accounts if the person has a Client Reference number (anyone with a booking history, but can be generated if you don't) and then a ST can be transferred digitally. It seems to be working OK, judging by the families who sit around me and regularly share STs among various members and friends. Physical STs are still available for over 65s, under 18s, disabled supporters and others who pay £10.

Appreciate your view. I have only ever had one ST . There are 7 friends and family that sit together. PB said he stopped passing STs on because it deprived A N Other of a ticket. We know this is not the case now because there are tickets available every game. The club allows ticket to be passed on once not a few games. I accepted this a long time ago. However will accept club consider it is wrong because club want to make more money not because it is unfair to A N Other.
I posted recently how it cost £30ish for my son to give his seat at last minute to his sister. I appreciated the numerous replies because it did seem that this could have been done cheaper.
Of course main reason present system is in place is to increase revenue but with 1901 members rightly able to pass ticket on am sure this perk helps sell 1901 membership

Have you managed to fill that new stand at £3000 a pop?

Whilst I agree with the principle the cost is another disgussion which I agree is crazy. I read that Mousehole AFC thread with some envy. Whilst I love being in the Premier League, I sometimes miss the simplicity of seasons before.

I`m the one who had three tickets in my name. You say season ticket holders get discounted tickets to those buying one offs. This is true but season ticket holders whether they go or not have committed to pay for the whole season. (There were five paid for but empty 1901 seats in front of us on saturday)
A N other can pick and chose which games to go to.

And this commitment is rewarded with a substantial discount.

As a side to all this.
My mate isn't as flush with the cash as some and can't afford a ST. But I take him to all the cup games. He's on a winner here with Liverpool (reserves) and the first time he has seen them. Obviously Crawley & Wolves were the top games for him. If / when we get to Wembley I hope he has a similar chance of getting a ticket over the 50K who've never been to the Amex.
